Inase Facility Guidelines and Information
- Please do not let others enter the facility.
- Smoking in the facility is strictly prohibited except in the designated outdoor area. Smoking discovered in non-smoking areas will result in immediate action such as asking the guest to leave or billing the guest for damages depending on the degree of severity. Strict enforcement ensures protection of this historical wooden architecture of cultural importance. We appreciate your understanding.
- There is no parking lot on the premises. Please use public parking lots in the area (there is one across from Inase).
- The building of Inase was renovated from an eighty-year-old Otsu machiya townhouse which was once a local rice seller’s shop and residence. While repurposing it as an inn, we also attempted to preserve most of the original architecture. Hence there may be some inconveniences due to the unique structure, but we put great effort into making the environment very comfortable for your stay.
